Their lineup includes flagship products like the LitterRobot™, FeederRobot™, LitterHopper™, and more, all designed to cater to the evolving needs of modern pet owners, enhancing the well-being and happiness of pets through smart, connected devices.


What is Whisker+?

Whisker+™ is an innovative premium subscription service being developed by Whisker. It aims to introduce a cutting-edge offering that provides exclusive digital features and benefits across Whisker's product range. Designed to deliver personalized pet care solutions and advanced functionalities, Whisker+™ seeks to redefine the standard of pet care, offering insights and services that go beyond traditional products.


What Diksha Did?

During my internship at Whisker, I played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and development of Whisker+. This involved conducting comprehensive market research to discern user preferences and market trends. Additionally, I led the formulation of feature sets based on user insights, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. I also contributed significantly to financial insights, preparing and presenting analyses to key stakeholders to support decision-making. Moreover, I authored the Product Requirements Document (PRD), detailing the functional specifications and roadmap for Whisker+.


What I learned?

My internship experience at Whisker provided me with invaluable insights into product development and management practices. I gained proficiency in market analysis, feature prioritization, and strategic planning, enhancing my ability to drive innovation and navigate complexities in project execution. Managing stakeholder expectations and effectively communicating financial insights further honed my skills in leadership and cross-functional collaboration.


Projected Results

While specific outcomes are yet to be finalized, based on the estimates provided in the Product Planning Document (PPD), Whisker+ is projected to achieve significant milestones. It is expected to generate approximately $4.05 million in annual subscription revenue within the first year of launch, capturing a projected 30% market share in the premium pet care segment. These figures are based on thorough market analysis, user demand forecasts, and pricing strategies. By pioneering new standards in the smart pet care industry, Whisker aims to establish itself as a frontrunner in delivering comprehensive pet care experiences.
